Media Icons

Media Icons are image overlays over your Poster or Backdrop panels that display visual information about your media.

  1. Download MediaIcons.rar from the Files section
  2. Extract the images to C:\ProgramData\MetaBrowser 2.0\MediaIcons

If you extracted correctly, you should have all your images under the MediaIcons folder.

You can add/change any of the images to suit your needs, or add custom icons for your media.

In order to use your custom icons, you need to follow a specific file naming convention as layed out in the table below.

Type Prefix
Air Day day-
Aspect Ratio aspect-
Audio Format audio-
Locked locked.png/jpg
MPAA rated-
Resolution hd-
Trailer trailer.png/jpg
Video Type type-
Watched watched.png/jpg
Video Format video-

So for example if you had Video Type set to XYZ in your metadata, you would name your custom image type-XYZ.png.

All invalid filename characters are removed in the naming convention, for example if you had an Aspect Ratio of 1.23:1 in your metadata, you would name your custom image aspect-1.231.png.
