If it's still not working for some people, go into the meta browser folder under "Program Data" and delete the XML file for the AMF dll.

For example on my system it is C:\ProgramData\MetaBrowser 2.0\Plugins\AMF.dll.xml. Then in Meta browser, Settings, Movies, Fetchers, click the gear button next to AMF and set your settings. Should work then.

AMF does fetcher the metadata, but somehow it just save the posters. I already checked "force update images" and "force save images" in "Process List" and I can see "Downloading posters" but when I return to the normal view the posters are not there. However, doing a manual fetch of posters always work. Have I missed something?

Also, how come the backdrops are not fetched, both auto process and manual fetch don't work.

Hey,

If using MediaBrowser, please make sure you have the folder.jpg plugin installed and enabled (has a check next to it) in Settings->Movies->Savers.

You DO NOT need to have "force update images" and "force save images" check in the process all settings. Double check your Process All settings and that "Posters" is checked for downloading under Images in the process all settings and that "Fetch Id only" is not checked.

Also, backdrops are not fetched b/c none of the adult fetchers support or have backdrops.

Thanks for reply, I have done all that was mentioned:
-folder.jpg plugin, checked.
-Posters in Process All setting, checked
-toggling "force update images" and "force save images"

Still, the posters are not being saved. But if I manually fetch them they will come in. Anything else that I could've done wrong?

Hey,

I cannot think of a reason why it would not save if your settings are correct...can you please turn on logging and see if anything pops up in there.

Also, you do not need to toggle the "force update images" and "force save images" for what you are doing...see the definitions below:

Force update images

If enabled, it will clear any existing images and re-download images.

Force save images

If enabled, will resave any existing images.

This is ONLY useful if converting from one frontend to another (ie XBMC to MediaBrowser) to save already existing images in a format for the new frontend.
