Display TV Season folder.jpg & backdrop.jpg at episode level
I've been using metabrowser 1 for a long time and I'm trying metabrowser 2 in trial mode to see how it compares.
I'm wondering how I get to display the TV season folder and backdrop images when I have an episode selected - I find these images useful to remind me of which which show I'm currently viewing episode data.
At the moment, the only image I can see is the episode thumbnail, which for some reason in called "poster" (in metabrowser 1 it was called "Episode Image" which makes much more sense).
Perhaps I have not set things up correctly. I installed the MediaBrowser locals and savers, and the TVDb and TMDb fetchers (as well as mediainfo and mediainfo icons).

Hey Adrian,
I'm wondering how I get to display the TV season folder and backdrop images when I have an episode selected - I find these images useful to remind me of which which show I'm currently viewing episode data.
This is not possible in the current version, each media type has it's own view and I do not have any plans to show season level images when an episode is selected.

OK.
If we can't have the season poster & backdrop, is there any chance of having the series name and season number displayed somewhere in the main area, rather than having to rely on the tree listing at the left?
See this image from MetaBrowser v1 (it's much clearer where you are in the collection with "How I Met Your Mother - Season 7" displayed at the top of the panel:

Also why is the episode thumbnail named "poster" instead of "thumbnail" or "episode image"? (A bit pedantic I know, but you must admit "thumbnail" makes much more sense than "poster").

Hey,
At this point I have no plans of adding a Series Name / Season Number as I really have no ideal place to put it.
The episode image is the episode poster...same thing, just different name.

Just an idea: you could create a new panel (tab) called "Name" - which for movies would just contain the text movie title, and for TV episodes it could contain the parent folder name (Season) prefixed by it's parent folder name (Show name) all in a large bold font.
Maybe something like this (or even in inverse - white text on a black background), the text could just wrap to fit the panel shape & size:

Adrian,
I understand what you mean and want, but this is not something I will add as an extra panel, that will not mix with the UI at all....If I can think of a good way to add the series name/season display at episode level I will, but as of now nothing comes to mind for a good solution.

No worries. Thanks for considering the options.
