Please confirm
Can someone please confirm is MetaBrowser will do the following;
Auto-populate the <MediaInfo> tags for all new movies and existing movies where the tags are not included in mymovies.xml
Auto-add the <Type> field which should contain the media type (e.g. DVD, BluRay etc) base on the source.
MCM doesn't do either of these, so this would be one requirement I'd need to know works before I buy MetaBrowser.
Thanks

Hey,
If you have MediaInfo installed you can run a Process All with only "MediaInfo" (and Type since you want that updated also) checked and it will update/add MediaInfo values to your existing movies. All new movies you add/fetch will also have media info values in the xml.
meta<browser/> automatically assigns type for folder rips (VIDEO_TS, BDVM, HVDVD_TS) as DVD, Blu-ray and HD DVD. For video files, you can setup Type Mappings.
You should be able to test the saving in the trial, try to fetch/save movie metadata for any items which do not have (trial) written in front.

Great. Got that, so it should be straightforward.
Finally, is there a way to setup a custom IBN folder for actor images? I use a shared one on a NAS for multiple MediaBrowser installs, and I remember in the very early (original) MetaBrowser releases (BETA 09.02.09), there was an option to do this. Can't see an option for this in the current release, and I don't see any actor images in the movie detail view.

Hey,
Go to Settings->Movies->Locals and click on the cog icon next to the Media Browser plugin...there you can enter the ImagesByName/People folder as well as config other plugin specific settings.
