Is it possible that you can add "treat as TV or series"?
All my dvr-ms or WTV files are seen as movies and I like them to be treated as series or TV.

For anything to be identified as a TV episode, no matter the filename, it needs to be put under a valid season folder.

I know but I don't want to put my recorded tv files in season folders also. I already put the seperate recordings in subfolders so If possible I still like the option "treat as tv"

Unfortunately that will not be possible, as metabrowser requires for anything to be identified as an episode for it to be under a valid season folder.

Just updated to 2.2.11 and I can't find the "new" option to exclude groups or files from renaming. Is that already implanted and if yes where can I find that option?

I'm assuming you're talking about Feature #706: Allow disabling of renaming of episodes per Series?

If so, then select a series in the media collection list for which you do not want to perform any rename, in the information panel set "Allow Renaming" to "No" and Save.

Can this also be implanted for movies?

I have setup my recorded tv without season folders and in that case there is a movie.xml file created and then I do not have the option for disabling renaming.
Now my recordings are still being renamed with wrong names.
Can I for now manually add this line <AllowRenaming>False</AllowRenaming> to the created movie.xml so that this will work?
