Notes for DisplayOrder/FetchOrder
- The default value is set to “Aired Order”
- Once you change the display order from one to another, you will have to clear cache and rescan for it to appear correctly, but you will only have to do it once. So go through your list and set the display types for each series that needs to be DVD Order or Absolute Order (make sure you hit save), then go to options, clear cache, and rescan.
- Only set Fetch Order to “Absolute” if the filename contains the absolute value (eg. Naruto 150.avi).
- The renaming will always be the airing order, this will not change, just the sorting will be done different based on the DVD_season/DVD_episodenumber or absolute_number values. For example, a file can be named xyz.avi which will have the same filename/metadata for, as an example, “Aired Season 1/Episode 1″, “DVD Season 1/Episode 5″, “Absolute Epsidoe 10″ etc…the file name is really inconsequential as its the metadata that matters.
- If you don’t know what I’m talking about, leave these values alone to the defaut value of Aired Order!
